Interesting thoughts on male chauvinism raging in the art word after the centre moved from Paris to New York.
Great interviewer btw
hoving must have left the met right after this interview
Keep talking Estelle. She like 96 now
Not good for you
Time capsule. Thanks for the upload.

Midatlantic had been fading for ten years but we can pinpoint Laverne and Shirley killed off the remnants the day before this aired, Jan 27
“Let’s face it. This is an eccentrics hideaway.” Great conversation - thank you for posting this.
Why does she keep asking questions before she allow him to answer? Shut up, already.
50:25 the ren cen is not his most inspiring work, not sure why he chose the exteriors to be so dark. But maybe portman wasnt inspired by detroit at the time despite detroits beautiful buildings. It is still in use today and may be a part of detroits renaissance 50 years later
Thank You
Thank you for posting this. It's interesting to listen to what Mary has to say about her fashion line and business acumen.
Kitty Carlisle was a great lady...❤
Jimmie Rodgers: Post cereals make breakfast a little bit better!
Thank you very enjoyable
This interviewer may have set a record for the most interruptions of her guest in a 30 minute period.
柯達公司美國🇺🇸我去了 現在沒有人在用底片🎥 又到了麻州看五月花船公園大家都穿上以前入美國時代的衣服 讓你身入其境 我不知道現在還有沒有?
Did the interviewer do any research on her before? How rude. This woman is probably the best American portrait painters of the 20th Century... A intelligent witty woman and you didn't do your homework? Shame! p.s..She.had access to information back then. They are called libraries and they kept newspapers and magazines articles on files
I was sectioned to mental hospital within a month of buying my sister Oscar de la Renta perfume for Christmas in 2020. Ha ha, true but it was also inauguration day.
Alice Neel is/was a very funny woman with a wonderful sense of humor; the interviewer? Not so much😮
BARBARLEE seems very self conscious and not TRULY HEARING Alice Neel.
It's terrible that Jackie Marks got such recognition and money when honest (real native) people could have benefited from the money he took.
Was he dating Johns at this point?
This interview was before the glass pyramid at the Louvre, reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright who did some of his best work at the later years of his life.
Excellently done. Thank you for making this available.
Love. Love your Arts series from 80s with some ofthe biggest names in the Arts. You are a National Treasure to the Arts. Favorite interviews were Winnogrand and Rauschenberg. Keep up the great work!
Many thanks. Carry on, 2024!
She's terrible: instead of asking the artist "how long have you been interested in illuminated blablabla" elle m'énerve, she isn't genuinely interested and Krasner was very patient and gracious.
Superior interviewer, Horst is great too

Wonderful video. Thank you.
Sicuramente tra i primi 5 fotografi di moda in assoluto. Un genio dell'estetica
I wish I could have met this man.
Only about one minute into this and I’m already losing interest. The many long drawn out ummmmms, and long pauses make it difficult to keep my interest.
1965's Post Honey-Comb cereal commercial tells a story of a legendary western town hero with a megawatt grin on his face known as The Honeycomb Kid whose real name is Harry Comber who resides in the Wild West where he spends his time coming to the rescue with a ton of carriage-driven animals especially the one with two tigers whenever disasters strike with a help of Post Honey-Comb cereal which, hence its title, contains crispy hexagon-shaped corn cereal pieces resembling a bunch of honeycombs that's giving him a lot of energy to help a little buckaroo and his granny facing a various landslides near the mountains every time the weather changes since he's no stranger to be in great danger accompanied by the late Jimmie Rogers' "Honeycomb" song from the 50's.
Thank you. A wonderful theoretical thinker as well as painter.
RIP Jeacques Roche
outstandingly candid!
hero!
These interviews by Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel are pure gems. Thank you!
She is an absurdity. He tries, but his pretentions shine. Aw, Eddie !
